"Racing is my whole life." Baeza told DRF. "It's all I know. I think these people misled the public about us. They tried to blame us for something, and we never did anything wrong. That's what the judge said."

“It’s a big relief, but at the same time, it’s three years of my life and part of my reputation,” Baeza said on Monday afternoon. “They deprived me from making a living. I should not have been put through this kind of hell. We didn’t do anything wrong.”

Baeza said he would not try to regain his job with NYRA. “I don’t want that job back,” Baeza said. “I do [want to get back into racing]. Racing is my whole life. It’s the only thing I know.”
